Jennifer Forte Cuomo has over 20 years experience in public relations, primarily in the luxury travel arena. Before starting JFC PR, Jennifer worked for one of the best travel PR firms in New York City for six years, Laura Davidson Public Relations (LDPR). She directed many accounts during her tenure with LDPR, including The Equinox Resort & Spa (Vermont), Peter Island (BVI), Curtain Bluff (Antigua), The Mustique Company, The Eden Rock - St Barths and The Regency Hotel (NYC).

In addition to her account management at LDPR, Jennifer was also the agency's Media Relations Expert. Her specialty included booking clients on television and radio and over the years she was able to secure placements on such shows as The Early Show (CBS), Today (NBC), Entertainment Tonight, Good Day New York (FOX), Good Day Philadelphia (FOX), Money For Breakfast (FOX Business), KTLA-TV (LA), WCBS-TV (NYC), NY1 and CN8's Your Morning (regional). Print placements included feature stories in Travel + Leisure, Departures, Islands, Caribbean Travel & Life, Town & Country, Condé Nast Traveler, and Islands to name a few. Another specialty includes taking clients off the travel pages with hits in such magazines as Time, Popular Mechanics, Food & Wine, Maxim, Outdoor Life and many others.

Jennifer Forte Cuomo started JFC PR in December of 2008. Her mission is to work with small resorts, hotels and travel-related businesses to create effective and strategic PR programs on reasonable budgets. Current clients include Cielo Lodge in Costa Rica, Hermitage Bay in Antigua, The Sagamore (Bolton Landing, NY), and Lake Placid Lodge in Lake Placid, NY.

Carla is a leading freelance media strategist specializing in luxury travel and hospitality. For nearly 20 years, her passion for travel and drive to “get the hits”has resulted in award-winning campaigns for her clients, including winning the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association (HSMAI) Platinum Adrian Award for outstanding PR campaigns for The Resort at Paws Up (the North American pioneer of “Glamping”) and Abercrombie & Kent, the openings of both Marriott Marquis Washington, DC and The Press Hotel in Portland, Maine.

Before transitioning to self-employment and establishing Carla Tracy Public Relations in July 2016, Carla was Vice President at Laura Davidson Public Relations (LDPR), a top NYC travel PR agency. During her tenure with LDPR she worked on launch programs for A&K Private Jet, A&K Airport Concierge, and other openings and re-positioning projects including Los Alcobas (Mexico City /Napa Valley), Raffles Resort Canouan Island (re-branding/opening launch); Tempo Miami (opening); One Ski Hill Place, Breckenridge, CO (opening); and Hotel Jerome, Aspen, CO (rebranding), formerly in the Vail Resorts Hospitality management portfolio. She led the agency’s Caribbean team for 8 years, with clients in St. Thomas, Turks & Caicos, Jamaica, Antigua, and more. Carla led the opening team for Marriott Marquis Washington, DC (2014); The Press Hotel in Portland, Maine (2015) and re-opening/re-branding of the Newport Marriott in Newport, RI (2015). Carla was also the lead on tourism board accounts over the years at LDPR including Travel Portland (Oregon), Visit Scotland, Destination New South Wales / Sydney, Australia, and Tourisme Montreal.

Based in Portland, Maine, Carla now intentionally specializes in food, drink, and travel clients in the New England area – a region in which she is passionate and knowledgable. Carla’s media relations skills, and strong media relationships nationally and regionally, coupled with a keen eye for trends allows her client’s story to be told across various sectors of media, from lifestyle and travel press to business, travel agent and meetings/group trades.

Keri Prestia, PR + Communications Consultant

Keri has 20 years of experience promoting some of the finest lifestyle brands around the world. She served at NY based lifestyle agency H&S for five years where she worked on several high-profile luxury and travel accounts, and quickly worked her way up the ranks to Director of Lifestyle. Later, she joined Nancy J. Friedman Public Relations as Vice President before going out on her own in 2011.

She has has successfully overseen numerous hotel openings and product launches throughout her career including W South beach, JW Marriott Marquis, Miami; Z NYC Hotel in Long Island City; Hotel Williamsburg in Brooklyn; and Thompson Miami Beach.

Throughout her career, she successfully oversaw the press outreach and overall strategy for a number of high-profile luxury accounts. She started working with JFC PR almost a year ago.
